Review: Yes To Carrots Facial Mud Peeling Cleanser

This is my first time experiencing the Yes To Carrots line. I'm a big "mud" fan and wanted to give their Facial Mud Peeling Cleanser a spin.

"Formulated with Dead Sea Mud, carrot juice and natural apricot scrubbing particles, C is for Clean activates micro-circulation, removes dead skin cells and promotes the dispersion of fine lines."

Don't expect to find actual thick mud to slather your face in, this was more of a lotion-type cleanser with dead sea mud (that you can't see) and ultra-fine apricot particles--the feeling and texture is very similar to Cosmedicine's Medi-Morphosis. I'm not sure how this is a "peeling cleanser" as I had assumed it would be like Freeman's Cucumber & Ginseng Peel-Off Masque. I think the name of the product is a little confusing, however it is a really good cleanser. The fine apricot particles really polish your skin and when you rinse it off, you really feel squeaky clean.

I hear that the rest of the Yes To Carrots line of products are really good. Have you tried them?

I haven't tried the line yet, but I love the ingredients you listed! Do you think this is gentle enough to use a few times a week or just once a week? Thanks!

I would say just once a week depending on your skin type. Although the particles of apricot are finely ground, you don't want to do too much exfoliating. Once a week should do the trick, followed by toner and a great moisturizer.

I've tried both the day cream and night cream and would definitely recommend. My skin feels super plump the next morning after I use the night cream! You only need a bit.

Isa, as I am getting older--anything to plump up these wrinkles is a good thing!

Dorothy, I had written a post on Beauty Pro inquiring about the lip scrub several months back. I'm glad to hear a positive comment on it. I may just have to pick it up!

That's interesting post.
It really works faboulous product.
The Dead Sea mud is a good proposition for people who are plagued with skin problems. Not only does the Dead Sea mud remove acne but it also gets rid of blemishes and aging marks.
